The Geneva Conventions are 60 years old: time to know them better - take our test!

The four Geneva Convetions were adopted on 12 August 1949.

These conventions have probably been ratified by more countries thant any other, yet their provisions seem in times of conflict to be the least adhered to.

How about you? How well do you know them?

TRIAL has prepared a QUIZ to help you test your knowledge of the Geneva Conventions and better understand what they have brought to the fight against impunity.

So, do you qualifiy to be an ICRC delegate? Would you be accepted as prosecutor in an international court? Or, on the contrary, are Slobodan Milosevic or Charles Taylor your role models???

TRIAL suggests that you test your knowledge with one of the following:

We also suggest that you take a look at the short film below. Good luck on the quiz!

The Geneva Conventions are 60 years old. Let us give them renewed vigour. Let us get to know them better, in order to better fight for their respect!
