TRIAL

TRIAL (Track Impunity Always) is an Association under Swiss law with headquarters in Geneva. Its principal goals are the fight against impunity for the perpetrators, accomplices and instigators of genocide, war crimes, crimes against humanity and acts of torture.

The Association, founded in 2002, is the main association in Switzerland dedicated to international criminal justice.
TRIAL leads or is involved in various innovative projects, namely:

- The Database Trial Watch
- The Advocacy Center Trial (ACT)
- The Legal Tools Project of the International Criminal Court (ICC)

Furthermore, it fulfils the function of Secretariat of the Swiss Coalition for the International Criminal Court.

Active in the areas of criminal and civil law and before international human rights organs, it was granted consultative status by the United Nations in 2009.

Three times a year the association publishes a revue. It also sends, free of charge, a weekly newsletter on the latest developments in international criminal justice to 1500 recipients.
